Message from The Principal :

Dear Students:

The overarching academic vision of our College is that education is not an end but the means to an end. In other words, we at Jinnah Degree College do not educate students just for the sake of getting a degree but also inculcate the true spirit of developing a holistic personality. We prepare our students fully to be able to meet the challenges of the practical world. We have highly dedicated teachers with a passion to groom the students in an exceptional way so that they may speak for themselves wherever they go. The administrative and the teaching staff both have always been instrumental in maintaining the exemplary discipline of the College. It is on discipline that the whole structure of the college is based. We try not to compromise on that. Great emphasis has heen laid on the co-curricular activities of the students to enable them to gain confidence and exposure so that they may play a better role in the social order. In this regard, various societies are functional in College. On the security side, foolproof security measures have been insured toward off all untoward happenings. In addition, our compaign has been launched to successfully counter the fatal threat of dengue.

Since development is an on going process all our efforts are being made in the diverse spheres so as to make Jinnah Degree College second to none. For this, students have been provided a road map by the College Administration and faculty to help them in the process of self minus actualization, in still in them a sense of purpose and enhance their self-esteam in a positive manner. Moreover, our College has also been proudly selected serve as a Career Counseling Center in collaboration with Women Development Department in order to provide students with better career prospects for securing their futures.

I would like to thank both the teaching and the administrative staff for their sincere efforts in making the College an ideal institution for the students.

I have pinned following targets as head of this institution.

1. Regular class work according to timetable, at all levels would be ensured.
2. Discipline would be maintained with strict compliance of dress code, for boys and girls.
3. Convening of extracurricular activities like English/Urdu debates, declamation contest, poetry recitation competition and sports related activities would be promoted.
4. Special attention would be paid to overall security measures and allied arrangements so that security is ensured for all male and female students.
5. General conditions in library would be improved so that students of BA, BSc aur Intermediate classes could get books without any difficulty.
6. College academic magazine “"SUKHANZAR"” and Jinnah newsletter is published on yearly bases by talent hunt and by polishing their hidden capabilities and creative traits.

I am confident of utmost co-operation from worthy colleagues, respected faculty member’s and office staff. Through joint efforts we can make beautiful addition in the glowing traditions of this high seat of learning.
